Camelot Carpet

Camelot Carpet is Green
Camelot Carpet Mills was founded in 1973 in Fullerton, California. Providing the styling, quality, and service today’s consumer demands, Camelot is one of the fastest growing carpet mills in the nation. They produce some of the industry's best carpets, known for their trend-setting textures and colors, along with a wide selection of quality fibers. They range from high-twist, textured-cut piles to the latest in intricate residential patterned carpets. Each product comes in 30 to 40 standard colors with custom colorization available. When it comes to quality, come to Peek's Flooring to see the beautiful selection and what makes Camelot carpet so desirable.
Camelot Employs Low Impact
Manufacturing Practices
When it comes to the environment, Camelot reduces energy demands on the local public utility company, as well as the regional power grid, by using state-of-the-art equipment to generate power for their plants. For example, they use heat-recycling technology to reduce energy, and thereby eliminate tons of air emissions each year.
Camelot was named a "Clean Air Partner" with the South Coast Air Quality Management District for achieving --- five years ahead of schedule --- the 2004 target levels for nitrous oxide emissions. All Camelot products exceed the "Green Label Plus" specs, established by the Carpet and Rug Institute, for low emission of volatile organic compounds by using the lowest amounts available in the backing process.
Camelot Uses Resources Efficiently
From carpet scraps to packaging to scrap metal and more, Camelot recycles and reuses as much as they possibly can. Unusable nylon is collected and sold to be melted down for use in the manufacture of automotive parts. This reduces the demand for virgin raw materials made from petroleum, one of the world's most critical non-renewable resources.
