The unique Avaire installation system floats! It is not fixed to the subfloor so that means you need not purchase extra products such as thinset or backerboard when installing this product. Unlike traditional tiles, you can grout the same day, which significantly reduces installation time and allows you to use your floor faster.

Avaire is less moisture-absorbent than many traditional tile products, making it easier to clean and lengthening the time it stays looking great.  Since Avaire is a floating floor and not fixed to the subfloor, a single tile can easily be replaced, if necessary, as opposed to traditional types of tiles that cannot be individually removed after installation.

Avaire tile is offered in three designer collections: Select, Choice, and Standard. The Select and Choice collections come in 18 X 18, 12 X12 and 6 X 6 inch sizes, and can be installed with our special system that does not require fixing the tiles to the subfloor. The Standard comes in the 12 X12  inch size, and requires a bare under-lament process.
